Harvest 2020 - WaterAid
Across Bugthorpe and Sutton Upon Derwent CE Primary Schools, we managed to raise £442 for WaterAid this Harvest. This is enough to build 4 new handwashing stations for up to 60 families!
Leading Lights
Our Leading Lights make up the Faith Council. Every fortnight, they meet with the Executive Headteacher to evaluate Collective Worship. They also help to deliver Collective Worship through drama and readings. The Leading Lights are currently working on writing a new school prayer based on our school visions.
Our Church Visitors
We are very fortunate to have regular visits from our Church community. Due to Covid-19, these visits are arranged via Video Conferencing. Catharine and Margaret from St Michaels and All Angels visit us weekly; Mr Patrick from the Methodist Church shares Bible stories with us via YouTube; the Open the Book Team from Pocklington have also made some videos that we use in Class Collective Worships.
